Zoie Newman, MA
Founder & Partner
A born and raised Oregonian, Zoie obtained her Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2014. During her educational training, she achieved certification as a mediator under Massachusetts state law for neutrals. Prior to co-founding Sage Notion, Zoie devoted over a decade to the healthcare sector, where she provided coaching and training in interpersonal skills to both healthcare professionals and organizational leaders. Zoie specializes in coaching and training related to emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, effective communication, and leadership practices that foster psychological safety. With a commitment to broadening her impact, Zoie is excited for the opportunity to expand her services beyond the healthcare industry, offering her expertise to the wider business community.
Outside of work Zoie loves exploring the Portland food scene, devoting time to her yoga practice and hiking the beautiful Pacific NW
Dylan Clifford, SPHR
Founder & Partner
Dylan is the Co-founder of Sage Notion and works with our clients as a Human Resources Consultant. He is focused on providing ethical Human Resources to small businesses. Dylan is strongly committed to the service-driven nature of Human resources. He is both people-centric and strategy oriented, balancing employee needs with the strategic requirements of businesses.
Dylan began his Human resources career working in Non-Profit healthcare. There he developed his belief that the best way we can serve a company is by supporting and nurturing their employees. He has since provided Human Resources for 12 years in support to a variety of industries including healthcare, retail services, security, among others. Dylan is known for his calm, reliable nature, and ability to tackle any issue with a level headed approach.
Dylan holds a Senior Professional of Human Resources certification as well as a Bachelor's Degree from Portland State University.
Outside of work Dylan likes to paint, spend time with his cat, and go outside to explore the PNW.
